I live on Second Ave and this is a problem. I have been approached in
my mininvan with the kids in the back, I call the police while they are
still standing next to my car so I can get a good description of them.
I still see the same women, and their "pimps" around. It seems that
they go away for a few days then come back in force.
I have also called when I see a john pick one up, give a full
description of the car and plate No. if I get it.
What is the penalty for prostitution? do they have to be caught with a
john or is walking around enough(some times three or for trips up and
down the block before I can't take it and call the police)?

I think they should confiscate the johns car and post his name in the
paper, there needs to be a reason to think twice before picking up a
hooker.
