Werner is right about the lack of planning and the dangers of bikes
dealing with diagonally parked cars.
What I don't get is that we have one of the widest boardwalks around.
Other places like AC, Wildwood and Los Angeles all have beachfront
cycling. In LA, there is this thing called The Strand, which is a
combination bike/roller blade/running path right alongside the sidewalk. 
I don't understand why those things succeed there, but nobody even
thinks about trying it in Asbury.
Meanwhile, I get to look forward to a summer where cycling, which is
one of my all time favorite things to do, is more dangerous and
unwelcomed then ever in my city.
Ridiculous.
