I don't believe Asbury Pedler was kicked out, rather I think he left. Bikes are not allowed on the boards in other towns and people ride on Ocean Ave and it seems to work.

It's also bad for cyclists like myself who mistakenly think it's a bike lane. Keep in mind, they paved and painted the whole arean in a hurry, I believe because of MM. I also think the corner of Asbury Ave. and Ocean is another accident waiting to happen. It's sort of a blind corner. And, the whole issue of bikes, bike lanes and Brielle cyclery on the boardwalk is pretty strange in my opinion. It just doesn't seem like the whole thing was thought thru. As it stands, biking is prohibited on the boardwalk from 12 pm on. I know many people have an issue with bikes on the boardwalk, but it surprises me that nobody has an issue of putting cyclists at risk, which is what we experience when we are forced onto Ocean Ave. now. It would've been extremely simple to create a bike lane on the boardwalk... or someplace. What kind of message does it send to cyclists who want to ride on the boardwalk, but are prohibited to, and then they see a bike store on the boardwalk. Even worse, the AP Peddler guy was kicked out of that location, and here we are again right back at the same place. --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED] ups.com, "wernerapnj" <wernerapnj@ ...> wrote: > > --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED] ups.com, charlie <oceanchuck@ > wrote: > > > I think the bike lane is what's causing it to be congested.
