Maureen, in a nutshell, you've hit the head on the nail! If you had
written the scenario, of what's actually happened, instead of the
utopian view, we all seem to share, the result would be too "sane",
would make "too much sense", or almost like "doing things right"!
There's always a knucklehead or three, that throw a wrench in anything
worthwhile doing! I hope the "observers" at the WB, NOTICED, the
people, the ambience, the "hustle and flow", of how to RUN things
right, for a change, instead of ASSUMING, if THEY build it, WE will
come! Anyplace else, maybe. From the History of AP, from 1930 til
today, we're looking for our childhood and now that we are adults, can
finally "belly up to the bar"!
When I go out, I always bring my good time with me. I don't go
"looking" for a good time, because you're always disappointed, waiting
for someone else, to put it out there, for you. I'm talking good,
clean, fun! I don't really follow what Brittany or J-Lo, is doing,
because I tell folks, I'm on "Teeny-Time", from my old nickname!
Be determined to have a good time, ignore, ignorance and voila, there
it is! I find that I can talk on just about anything, even when I
don't have a clue! At 2:00 AM, in the morning, EVERYONE looks good,
as they say! I just want to say to the "powers that be"; YOU BLEW IT!
You managed to shut down the one good thing, about this City! It
wasn't the WB, it was how the hosts there, TREATED people! They
brought their own perspective, lovers of people, lovers of pets,
lovers of life! THAT, was the winning combination, that YOU don't
have! Okay, I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMille! God Bless Debbie
