Since there seems to be no movement to resume the Esperanza project
allow me to share with you my recommendation at a recent Council
Meeting.
Background - Everything done so far is the foundation for a very
large highrise - foundations, design, etc. The lower levels that are
just appearing are designed to be parking levels.
Make a deal with Metro, or whoever steps into their shoes, to
complete the parking levels for use and allow them to retain the
residential right for the future.
For MM, the retail, beach, ConHall, Casino, etc to succeed there has
to be sufficient parking. Well, there it is a partially completed
parking facility.
A win all around, Parking in a new completed facility, the
possibility of residential towers retained for the future. Or
perhaps a Hotel (recall that hotel anenities were designed in
already).
