On July 5th, my friends and I watched a family with several children
trying to change clothes on the boardwalk. We felt sorry for them,
it was humiliating at best.

As our resident historian (in exile) will tell you, the boardwalk
used to have several changing facilities. I am sure that MM and The
Partners do not want to "waste" potential rental space for such
facilities.

Well, I have given "waste" a little thought. I used to have an
office in Maitland, FL and admit to having been to Disneyworld 28
times. Have you ever tried to rent a locker after 10:15AM at a
Disney Water Park? You can't get one!

So, I suggest to MM and The Partners that there may INDEED be money
in changing facilities. The late George Carlin had an act
about "Your Shit" and how, as time goes by, you collect "More Shit";
well, people need places to STORE that "Shit."

My suggestion would be: Changing facilities at the Casino and the
Sunset Avenue Pavilion. Paid lockers, paid warm water showers,
vending machines with little soaps, shampoo; FREE bathroom
facilities.. People will pay to store thier "Shit" and to get that
toxic sunblock off before driving home!

Keep the free cold water sprays along the boardwalk though!

Just an idea, what does everyone else think?

It might bring in more money than rental space - even if it IS
seasonal.
