The city would greatly benefit from going in that direction. A good example is 601 Bangs Ave, which is a magnificent building that needs alot of help. The conditions inside are not good right now, but the office space itself is great. A renovation is all it needs. Large windows, high ceilings, great views of the city and ocean, and a great downtown location with parking. Unfortunately, those factors also make for great condos.
