Lis Pendens does not always signal a forclosure. A fight over title, a contract to purchase or a lawsuit involving a lien can also generate a lis pendens.
Unless Jennifer is looking at a source I'm unfamiliar with that shows lis pendens that were only generated by foreclosure, then her number of 80 does not mean what she thinks it means. I actually thought the number was far too low for a dense place like Asbury Park anyway.
