Whenever my husband wants to walk around at night I always say "take the dog!" 
I for sure feel better when I am with him. He is very friendly, but I wouldn't 
say never hurt a fly when it comes to my dog. I think if someone tried to 
attack/hurt us, he would fight to the death.
