Hi A:
>I wanted to say that the crucial question is not why <*Dr Hazarika*> has >joined the BJP but why Dr Hazarika has joined the <*BJP*>. *** OK, that does explain things. I agree, Bhupen Hazarika has the right to join any political party he choses to. Those who revere his persona, obviously do/did so not merely because of his voice or the lyrics, but because they also identified with the message in those songs and those lyrics. BH's joining the BJP, a political party that does not represent the values that BH's lyrics once stood for is making those fans wonder WHY he chose BJP. cm At 2:47 PM +0000 3/29/04, Ankur Barua wrote: >I didn't realise that italics used in Word 2000 do not appear on assam.org : > >I wanted to say that the crucial question is not why <*Dr Hazarika*> has >joined the BJP but why Dr Hazarika has joined the <*BJP*>.
