I think our discussion had veered towards what animals are being eaten in India and where. Someone mentioned what about Mijoram and Meghalaya.
 
I am highlighting that dogs, "gaur" (cow/buffalo) and other animals have been traditionally eaten by atleast some of the  tribals of those regions --but I also wish to highlighht/stress that eating such animals is not a peculiarity or shameful -as such a point was raised -or atleast it seemed to me so.
 
 People all over the world do it.
