for the cases I know to fail repeatedly and consistantly, then yes, disabling SSL in the GUI lets them then pass reliably.
I do see occasional timeouts from spammers, but I assume they are just not terminating their session correctly - I have in the last hour or so seen one connection that is timing out repeatedly & re-trying but the mail is being delivered at our end so it seems to be a slightly different problem. Unfortunatly I found that problem after returning from a meeting so I will have to pick through the logs later to see if it is the same issue. I will try & do that this evening if the family allows and let you know what I find K -----Original Message----- From: Thomas Eckardt/eck [mailto:thomas.ecka...@thockar.com] Sent: 14 April 2009 16:50 To: ASSP development mailing list Subject: [Assp-test] Antwort: Re: 1.5.1.2 - Many Connection Idle - timeout >The problem is however definatly related to TLS, if I disable SSL they >pass through without error. So it meens, changing the configuration (disable SSL) fixes the problem? You have never renamed the IO::Socket::SSL module to prevent Perl from loading this module? There are a couple of senders that fail consistantly. The problem is however definatly related to TLS, if I disable SSL they pass through without error. This was tested with (0.0.30) which was the latest when you sent this - I notice that you have since released (0.1.00) - I'll upgrade to that in a moment and see if it makes any difference, but you will know better than I if that upgrade is at all related Regards K -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Lawry [mailto:kevin.la...@ndfs.co.uk] Sent: 12 April 2009 12:46 To: ASSP development mailing list Subject: Re: [Assp-test] 1.5.1.2 - Many Connection Idle - timeout I have watched the conversation with interest, as soon as I am back at work I will update and let you know how I get on Many thanks Kevin -----Original Message----- From: Fritz Borgstedt [mailto:f...@iworld.de] Sent: 12 April 2009 10:23 To: ASSP development mailing list Subject: Re: [Assp-test] 1.5.1.2 - Many Connection Idle - timeout We believe that we tracked down the problem to the use of IO::Socket::SSL in Windows. The last version contains a patch to circumvent this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: High Quality Requirements in a Collaborative Environment.
