Hello Thomas, MH> I have still some stability issues on windows. MH> I will send you more information during the weekend.
after rising the memory (50M) for the BerkleyDB cache, ASSP runs almost fine. I got only very few (1-2 a day) self-restarts of ASSP. (see logfiel at the end of this mail) No hanging/dieing anymore. Maybe I should rise the cache to 75M? Regarding the worker threads, I observed, that teh automatic creation of new threads is not working on my system. Even if ASSP recomends more workers and memory ia available, It does not start new Workers. But this is not really an issue, as I just set the worker number to 8 and let it run. This can process up to 80000 Msg a day on my 2GB Server running Webservices, MySQL and Hmailserver. The Memory usage of ASSP dropped rapidly after introducing of BergleyDB. So I think memory is not really a problem Anymore (ASSP is currently using around 550MB Memory with 8 Workers) I think we should add ASSP 2 as a Beta to the Sourceforge Web. It could definitely run in a production enviroment, but there is still "some space for improvement" I think we should provide a solid default config, which grants ASSP a little more Memory and using of BerkeleyDB should be the default. The results of the Spam-filtering needs no improvement at the moment. There are nearly no FP and no fake bounces at my system.
