I have not tried V2 yet. But I have been watching most of the posts regarding it. Along that line, I think that when it is decided it is safe to put on SF, a set of machine requirements (in bold) should be defined for those who want to try it out (so as to not have people trying it out and then coming back crying because it doesn't work for them). It will only make things that much better (survivability wise) for ASSPS v2.
