my 0.02 cents here (ASSP v1.2.6(54))

the expanded list righ now makes no sense. ORDB is useless (spam coming thru
open relays in 2006 is not a problem), and many of the 'espanded' setting
suggested there, are not reliable and using fast (and ddos resistant) well
distributed servers. You'll sooner or later run into troubles using them.

actual status of dbsbl providers is :

zen.spamhaus.org
- the only real heavy weight here. Safe, fast and reliable.

dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net|list.dsbl.org|combined.njabl.org
best addons to xbl-sbl.spamhous.org, but maybe in few months, when the 'zen'
part of the project comes to life we'll have to reconsider even these lists.

bl.spamcop.net : i don't like that list (but i advocate use for SURBL,
including data from spamcop). And i think that adding spamcop and setting
maxits to 2 just makes dnsbl less effective.

(and many other minor lists, why list them in the interface of assp ?)

and http://www.asspsmtp.org/wiki/DNSBL (2 dec 06) looks very good to me,
but i don't understand the change in the interface with new suggested
settings.

I think the the scope of the interface is just to show a usable sample with
correct defaults to start. And the old version, adding a link to wiki,
looked perfect to me.

it listed good settings
(zen.spamhaus.org|dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net|list.dsbl.org|combined.njabl.org),
gave you an example of how to modify them (add the aggressive spamcop and
change maxits to 2). Just make title "RBL Service Providers" clickable and
pointing to the wiki, and i call that a perfect compact clear description.
