Hey Peng,

I got the answer back from the provider and you are calling a mobile phone in China.

I tried sending you emails but you didn't replied to us in the last 2 days. Are you still having the same issue?

Thanks.

HI Guys,

My CDR from unlimitel shows exact my intented number. Stephan switched from
Bell to Primus for T1 used for Internaltional. I got one number connected
correctly, but the other still experience same problem.

it seems traditional T1(SS7) also has problem routing. ******!!!!!!!

I am requesting Unlimitel, then Bell/Primus, then their counterpart in China
to do a trace.

Not sure whether Stephan can coordinate this issue.

tks
peng

 Hi Peng,

have you checked your CDR and the CDR from Unlimitel (we get them daily) to
make sure that they both match the number (you think) you dialed?

If they do, pass them on to Unlimitel and I'm sure they can deal with it.

regards,

Drew

Hi Guys,

Early this month (Aug 2008) and today, I experienced same problem. This
actually happened once or twice before, but didn't get my suspection. I am
calling international number to family in China, but the calls were
connected to wrong party in CHina and wrong party somewhere else, I can't
locate, but it was obvious wrong and not in China. Because the guys are
speaking either native English or other language.

I am using Linksys Router with Asterisk on it. I am with Unlimitel.ca. I
have been with them since , I think, 2005. I am very happy with service and
support from Stephan.

I am disclosing this email with Unlimitel.ca with good intention trying to
see whether you guys have same experience and the solution.

thanks
Peng

I don't believe it has much to do with CHina Provider because I was often
being connectind to English speaker as well. They are not in CHina. this is
obvious.

Let's check out my CDR tomorrow when you have it ready. Can you send me back
the CDR we had issue for the date 8:31am-8:35am Aug 2. as well?

Let's see what these CDR says and you can cross check with what you get from
Bell or Primus see where it's been connected.

This is getting a serious problem. I am worring that local PSTN will be
affecgted as well if this is not addressed.

So far I don't experience local call problem. If it happens, we have to
switch back to BELL physical line.

I need see your effort to keep up with good work you have done before.

 Dear/Cher Peng Li,

We do not control the network in China. We think it's a problem with the
provider in China that is not routing the call to the proper number.

Thank you for your request. / Merci.

Does phone network overload mean connecting calls to the wrong

 all the time?

I don't understand, really. This is really not acceptable practice.

 Dear/Cher Peng Li,

I think the Chinese phone network may be over-loaded this month with

 Bell.

I can send the report to Bell, but Bell will probably tell me the same
story.

 HI Stephan,

We had same issue again this morning at about 8:22am Aug 21 2008. I
attempted call to China my sister in law at 011-86-136-0110-8979, but

  was

connected to two other speaker. One speaks Chinese, not the person I
intended, the other speaks English. Several other times about the

  same

 time,

it was ringinig, but no answer.

Can you investigate what happened? this is kind of unacceptable.
