There are some models of wireless desktop SIP phones.. you may want to
check into that option too. I have in rare cases with teleworkers used
the set up described by Chad and it works as long as the PC is on.

You could get an Access point which support Bridge Mode, one for each
group of phones in a physical area, but then you add another layer of

Why do they want to avoid cabling, most of the time it's cheaper in
the long run, especially if they plan on using their phones to
generate income...
