It depends on the setting. If you put them in a config file they are
saved. But if you simply issue them with ivtvctl or something similar
they dissolve on reboots. ;)

Just forget about mythtv, and if you don't trust me, uninstall it and
you'll find no difference. Just remove libmyth and the rest of mythtv
will vanish as well.
