Greetings here,

I've reworked the http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Effect_Menu/fr page and
got a couple thought from here:

In the intro, it's write: "You can download many free plug-ins for Audacity
from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/plugins and the links thereon."
-> is free is to take like "free as a beer" or "free as a speech"?

"Normalize...
Use the Normalize effect to set the maximum amplitude of a track, equalize the
amplitudes of the left and right channels of a stereo track and optionally
remove any DC offset from the track. "
-> What "DC offset" is? Maybe an external link to wikipedia (or other) would be
good and enough?
-> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_offset

In the VST part, I think it could be great to have something about "Why there
is no VST support on Linux" or at least (if it's too much subject to endless
discussions, something like "Note: there is (currently) no VST support for
Linux"

By personal curiosity, I'm just wondering why VAMP plug-ins support has been
removed? Are they definitely abandoned?

(FR part now:)

Christian:

(End of FR part)

Once again, that's very good to see a free software improving as quick as
Audacity, what's Audacity's team secret?

Cheers,
Olivier

PS: I'm wondering if it's useful to forward this kind of improvement to
-quality, should I?
