Welcome aboard, and thanks for volunteering.

If you do not know what a term means and there is no i18n
comment, it is best to look at the audacity.pot file which tells you
the source code file and line number the string relates to:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/locale/audacity.pot .

>From the .pot you can see that the two "line number" strings
come from effects/ScoreAlignDialog.cpp (for audio-midi alignment).
EXPERIMENTAL_SCOREALIGN is not defined by default, so only
someone who can compile Audacity can turn it on.

@Roger (who I've Cc'd), is it possible to add some i18n comments
to effects/ScoreAlignDialog.cpp to help translators? For example,
translators often ask what "Presmooth time" means. I tend to think
"time" there could be better translated as "length", but I am not
familiar with this feature.

All those are Nyquist effects. At the moment there is no way of
adding translations of those to gettext. All that could be done
would be for a translator to translate the .ny files and then we
would make them separately available for download. Translating
the .ny files needs care so as not to break the plug-in.

However I think James has plans to work on making Nyquist
effects translatable.

Are there any other strings untranslated in GUI, except for Nyquist
effects?
