Hello I use Audacity to teach basics in music production and sound design. The last couple of german translations have frustrated me and my students for some time. Could you please refrain from translating effect names?
Some examples: "Delay" should also be called "Delay" in german, because all studio programs and all musicians use this term. It is pointless and confusing to translate this effect to "Verzögerung". Tracks are also "muted" or "soloed" in german. Translations like "Stumm" and "Alleine" only makes the program look outdated and not serious - which definitely is NOT the case. If you want, I could venture a translation of the german file - although I would only be removing false translations and replacing them with the proper english terms.
