Well, I'm gonna say this to begin with. I an the new server host, and if I see any bullshit like admins giving away items, spam messages, and etc, I will ban them! As for the project itself, I'm not gonna just let the game go from developer! I would imagine Colton would say the same.
If people don't like the game anymore, simple, just don't play it! Its not that hard. You only get so mad with the project because you choose to follow it.
