Re: Windows 10, hopefully a decision I won't regret
Ahoy all
Ironicly enough I just upgraded to win10 on my bootcamp which was running 8.1 there was no reason to, I just did it for the heck of it.
Maybe its the upgrade and a clean install as dark is likely to get will be different, but its kinda slow. things aren't as smooth as 8.1 was,and afrin, I could certainly use your suggestions/tips
To people saying UAC isn't a big deal, and you can just press alt y or shit to get rid of the dialogue, I say it is a problem in that its a pain in the arse and a additional keystroke everytime anything at all happens
be it copying a file, launching a program file and so on. I say why, why do I need to press that alt y if even that. it makes me go crazy, and so as soon as I reinstall or install a copy of windows, UAC is the very first thing I turn off.
You don't need to muck about with registries a
nd the like all you need for getting rid of the annoying dialogues is to go to UAC in the control panel and slide the slider to 0.
I aree, turnin off windows defender is or would be a bad idea unless you are runnin another antivirus
