[[wow]], Windows 10. It's been a long time since i've been deeply invested in the Windows world. I'm only turning my attention back to Windows with the latest Narrator enhancements coming in March which are fantastic. Windows 10 can be made a little better by installing things like Classic Shell. I did this on Windows 8.1 when I used that excuse of an operating system. UAC wouldn't be so much of a problem, except that it prevents programs from writing data to some system folders like program files. I don't think it's possible to disable UAC without the aid of a third party program or using some command line tool. Doesn't disabling UAC disable Windows apps like Mail? That may not be a big issue, since I probably wouldn't use most of the garbage MS ships in modern apps.

I agree with the person that suggested Thunderbird. Outlook Express was cool, but I didn't appreciate having to manually enter server information. Windows access is finally moving forward and I'm incredibly happy. I don't know if I'll switch from using Mac, but I'll be putting the new Narrator through its paces when the Creator update comes out. There is no reason for us to pay for expensive screen readers like Super Nova or Jaws anymore when we have a combination of Narrator and NVDA. Maybe it might be for a few specific cases where scripts are required, but I've never liked the idea of scripts. Scripts are only temporary solutions to the problem. The app developer needs to implement proper access so that scripts are no longer needed now or in the future. That was the one thing Apple got right.
