Ultimate, you're misunderstanding what is meant by the term "clone" here. They aren't referring to 2 games that appear the same, like a counterfeit coin being made to closely resemble the real coin, they are referring to games that were created using code stolen from another game. Even if the new game were modified to seem very different, this community is using the term "clone" if the creator built the game by first stealing another developer's game code without their permission, and modified it to be a new game. I hope that explains what people are talking about here. Also this may explain why some people are pointing to similarities as evidence to which original game the stolen code was taken from, and not that similarities by themselves are the problem.
