Can we please stop acting is if one bad remark will spell your permanent exile from an already toxic forum you claim not to care about being a part of in the first place? Contrary to what might be seen here it is truly rather difficult to get banned from this place. You've gotta try hard and entirely bypass the rules. I've never once been warned, cautioned, etc. Those who have read my posts know, when dealing with conflict, I normally respond sarcastically. You are able to see, if you look far back enough, mine and Jaydes disagreements. they were civil, yet firm. I wasn't an administrator forever. I just happen to voice my complaints in a way that doesn't go against the rules you all agreed to.
I like what Mason did. Even if I don't necessarily agree with his viewpoint he linked to a topic, which is more than can be said for many others.
A soft anything goes stance is fine in some environments, but not here IMO. The crowd is sadly changing and if you don't want to see unauthorized forks with little development effort floating around, a harsher stance is necessary.
