Re: Manamon 2: Impressions Thread
To the people who have been asking whether certain mons are good or not, there's something that you do need to keep track of. This is especially true for the ones who transform pretty late, versus the ones who do not transform at all. Generally, the transforming ones who aren't in their final form yet have weaker stats, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are worse. In their final transformation, they might get significant stat boosts. This is why mons like Marlaunt might seem really strong in the beginning, because they never transform, so they are basically already strong stat wise from the get go. Whereas something like Metalarve might eventually catch up to, or even surpass them.
A lot of people probably already know this, but it comes up every now and again, so be aware of that. I actually wonder if there's significant differences playing the game with a whole non-transforming team, versus playing with a team whose members all transform twice. I imagine the latter will cause the early game to be a lot more challenging, but I wonder about the mid to end game.
