Honestly, I like carving things up and item management with druid, which probably isn't normal for most players. It's neat to see what you can carve into things, and spending a few minutes to put out and collect suncatchers is always worth a good chunk of exp on login.
Perhaps a good way to get a feel for the class would be to look at the druid spell and skill tree list. It's at: http://alteraeon.com:8080/spells/druid - there's a lot of stuff in there.
