Re: any of you play lords and nites/ keltic tribes?
I played this game for quite a long time. Two things here:
1. Prepare to be very stressed if you want to really compete. I spent nights launching attacks for hours, and then entire mornings defending my castles and those of my allies. It's tough and 2 years ago I decided that was not for me.
2. Players of these games spend a lot of money on it. There are more and more things to pay for with real money, from buying free fortresses to speeding up the recruitment of troops or increasing the points of newly conquered castles and fortresses to a certain point instantly. It is at this point where the game business is, and there really comes a time when you either pay or lose.
I played on a server in Europe where there were clans from different countries. In the end, the Russians and Poles always prevailed, largely due to the fact that they spent the most money on game. In the servers of my own country (Spain) I played longer and there were fewer differences, since the economic level is more equal. In any case, the top positions were always occupied by those who made the most purchases in the game.
The game is fun, but if you are competitive and you like to stand out you will have to pay. This for me is the main problem, along with the large amount of time that you will have to dedicate.
