Re: Flarestar, the audiogame from Sylphe labs and TiconBlu, is out!

Well, I bought the first of the Inquisitor series a few days ago and was rather disappointed. I'd have thought that after one and a half years, they'd have had enough time to work most of the more annoying bugs out.

For me the game kept missing key presses, and had the annoying habbit of becoming so corrupted that eventually I'd end in limbo, I could see everything where I was at, but I couldn't do anything or move anywhere else. Reloading a previous saved game doesn't solve the problem, you'll still end up in limbo at the same place. The only solution is to start a new game, and even then, you'll just end up in limbo somewhere else.

I sent ticonblu an email about these problems, I was told that the developers of that particular game were no longer around and that the newer games use a different game engine. Not exactly what I wanted to hear.

I was thinking about Inquisitor Heartbeat and/or Flarestar, but after reading the comme nts posted here, I think I'll pass on both. They sound frustrating which isn't what I call entertaining , and I play games to be entertained.

So thanks for the reviews.
