How obvious is this "whoosing noise" ? I can't hear any difference playing that .m4a sample compared to one manually converted to .wav through Softsqueeze
I'm on Linux using faad V2.1 beta, Build Nov 2 2005 which I notice is a later version than was mentioned in the last post. I'll try again tomorrow through the SB and hi-fi.
