Why indeed. This clearly wasn't conceived/developed by Naim's team alone. They have their own little way of doing things, but it usually seems to make sense, and is easily communicated.
With this, they have so many partners creating the different pieces that it's doomed to feel disconnected and poorly thought out. And it just feels so dated, so out of touch. Maybe they know something we don't. At what they'll no doubt be charging, if they only sell 2 systems they'll probably break even.
