Do you mean audiophiles don´t have to be serious and can give instructions to us lemmings to follow? Jack for example doesn´t realize till now that his soundcard does resample even when he sets everything to 44.1/16. He didn´t want to dig deeper about that. Like i already mentioned he should have used a resample plugin for foobar to avoid the soudcard resampling. I´d be very interested in the listening result.
