Yes room correction appears to be the next big thing. If you are concerned about the measurement being only at one position why not measure at a number of positions and average it out if possible.
Velodyne also incorporate room correction software with their Digital Drive(DD)series of subs. One of the problems with correcting at low frequencies is that many mics do not do the lower frequencies well. The RC software my friends use comes with parameter files for different microphones that adjust the incoming signal based on the known shortcomings of the mic itself(basically doing mic correction, before room correction). -- dlite ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dlite's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4885 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25436 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
