I've just spoken to someone from Rayleigh Hi-Fi and we're going this Friday. :)
They don't tend to deal with Rotel anymore - apparently, although the equipment was good, their customer service was terrible, and customers were left waiting for items. They like the Arcam A70 amplifier a lot at the moment - more than I was intending to spend at £500, but we'll have a listen anyway. Regarding speakers, he mentioned Rega (R1 I presume from a little Googling), Arcam Alto and Rega (some of which are, again, over our budget, but hey... I can always say 'no'. Right?).
