I can't say i hear _noise_ as such with the switcher. It just modifies
the sound to be a lot less enjoyable. And a quick A/B is not the way to
find out either. One can tolerate a lot of signal-embedded junk and even
find it pleasant for a short while. The proof is in eating the pudding
over a longer period. (Injecting noise can even make a system sound
more vital and energetic, but this will soon wear you down.)
