What is your definition of "reasonably priced?" A figure that is "reasonable" to me is nothing to Bill Gates but a king's ransom to an Afghani peasant.
At the $1,000 new level you'd definitely want to include the Lavry DA-10 in your search. The Benchmark DAC has a good reputation at that price level. The Channel Island Audio DAC is several hundred less and has a good following.
