I have never heard of TACT (for example) cautioning against RC with certain speaker designs. The idea is counter intertuitive. The RC is "correcting" what is arriving at the listening position. It really shouldn't matter exactly how it got there... I've heard TACT with Quad Electro's and Linn Isobariks (worlds strangest imaging BTW) and it worked fine (ie as expected) in both cases.
