At present, all of the DACs wich have a masterclock inside require a dedicated transport-that's why we have so many DAC wich can can work only when slaved to the source: such DACs are considered a universal "upgrade". Now think of a Squeezebox wich can be slaved to the DAC (it is possible right now but it requires a mod): this could turn the hiend world upside down! Cheers, Betto
