I do get the occassional day when the Home plug fails. The interesting
thing is that it usually fails for an hour or two and then resumes so I
suspect that electrical mains interference is the culprit. Anyone tried
the new generation 200Mbits Homeplugs as these appear to be quoted with
a larger range so they might be less affected by interference.

The only problem is that they are much more expensive and not downward
compatible with the old ones.
