I paid about $25 for the Elpac linear supply (heavy duty wall wart) I'm
using with my SB3. When I first got it, I did quite of bit of comparison
testing between the stock supply and the Elpac. I did not notice any
difference in RF noise in the system (as far as I can tell, I didn't
have any RF noise), but I did notice a clear improvement in the bass
from the SB3's analog outputs when using the Elpac. I could not detect
any difference in the SB3's digital output between the two power
supplies.
