Whilst waiting for the next thrilling installment, I'd like to state that there is NO WAY IMHO that using a (properly working and wired) wired ethernet connection is going to be worse than wi-fi... wi-fi is by design an RF generator! (erm...I think the Guy Who Writes Firmware just said that - sorry)
