Fair enough, if there would be no significant reduction in cost, then there is little point. I was looking at partnering with the new John Westlake DaCapo DAC, which is actually looking to be about half the price of the Transporter and would replace my pre-amp as well, and it just seems a shame to have all of the conversion and analogue electronics put into the Transporter and never use them.
