I also have recently bought a SB3 and Beresford and think they are really good. I have added linear power supplies to both and like the smoother presentation over the switching ones supplied (I think they give an aggressive sound).
I prefer running the Beresford into a Grad 1 using the fixed outputs but Beresford directly into poweramp via variable outputs is not far behind it! I recently moved away from a Naim CDS1 source as I felt that the SB3/Beresford setup with the better power supplies has become frighteningly close.
