Well this test is strange ? it's mostly SACD which is roughly 20bit in rez and actually worse than cd in the treble, ultrasonic noise anyone ?
The few DVD-A that was used is of analog mtrl no reason to expect anything there either ( even if audiophile die-hards nurture the myth that old analog masters contains things that won't translate to 16/44 CD ) There is not many good 24/96 recordings. But i still think that some of the DVD-A or 2ch DVD-V with 24/96 i have sound better. A larger sett of them sound better due to better mastering and multichannel options.
