One issue I just realized is that since my home theater plays through the same fronts as my 2-channel listening, I do still need a pre-amp...in my case, the integrated amp. If I ever build a dedicated 2-channel setup in the future I might go this route though. I had auditioned some Parasound Halos a while back that I really liked, but chose not to get because the P3 preamp didn't have a bypass/unity gain loop.
