My understanding is that for up to 96 you do not need a special driver
for Windows or Mac or most modern Linux systems.

Wavelength has recentlly come out with a 192 capable interface, this
runs fine on Mac and some very recent linux versions, but DOES require
a special driver for Windows. So far Microsoft has not put an audio 2.0
driver in any version of Windows, which is required for 192.

What I'm not sure of is if it will run with the builtin windows USB IF
you stay at 96 or under.
