We mentioned in this thread already that on upsampling from 44.1kHz to 96kHz a lowpass must be applied, thats how it works with all software resamplers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upsampling Intereting point mentioned there "The second step calls for the use of a perfect low-pass filter, which is not implementable."
