win 7 process update just to report I am getting good results with process lasso, run fidelizer, then set squeezebox server process to realtime and core affinity 1,2,3 and set the rest of the processes to affinity 0. this on an i3 2 core, 4 logical core laptop. if these are set as defaults then they will load this way next reboot.
