Today there are several DSD ADCs but these are Multi-bit DSD and these can produce very good data. One should keep in mind that even editing software as Pyramix needs to convert the DSD to PCM for any processing done :) The music they sell you on SACD is 1-bit DSD that has tons of noise inside. I lately purchased an album in DSD files and decided that even 24/88.2 with an early lowpass is slightly overkill when trying to keep all music signals i see spectral, not to confuse with the things i hear please.
